Rest in peace, babe.

Chess Records would never have been the same without you. Soul and R&B would never have been the same without you. a true pioneer, and someone who pushed a whole new genre of music to the forefront in the midst of the Blues becoming king of the streets of chicago, and the radio waves of the south. you will certainly be missed, but not forgotten.

And At Last, she’s free from her ailments and able to pass on to eternity. Yes, she will surely be missed.
