Enchanted Kingdom: with my EK bud, Jellyn

Yes, it has been a very busy weekend for us, we’re in Makati Shangri-La to cover for an event on saturday, celebrated Lola Chloe’s birthday on sunday, attended some Laguna trip on monday and some additional obligation because of this week’s newspaper production (our day job). We need to comply with three clients in the coming weeks ahead, indeed a fruitful start of the month. No time for Happy Pigs, yeah! that’s what I call Angry Birds instead.

By the way it’s also Ver’s birthday month, wishing him good health and more love this early, he’s been very hardworking all these years. Please whisper a little prayer for him and may he continually be blessed.

I have to travel alone (without Ver because of the office production) all the way to Sta. Rosa to experience EK for the first time. Sabi ko nga sa instagram post ko kanina, “Perstaym. Kawawa na naman. Pagbigyan nyo na.” Meet my EK buddy, an anchor’s away addict and a co-zen, Jellyn. Thank God for friends like her who are willing to give up their whole day, just to make sure you get through yours okay.

We had fun trying almost all extreme rides and I’m proud to be a survivor of the Space Shuttle and the EKstreme Tower. We love the waters of Rio Grande Rapids and Jungle Log Jam, Jellyn can attest to that. And it has been a dream come true to hitch with the horses of Grand Carousel and to discover the sights of Wheel of Fate.

I’ll be posting more of EK and the Nuvali (which I visited first before heading to EK) soon.

Seeing and riding ferris wheel always reminds me of Regine Velasquez’s Perry’s Will song. Love its first line, “Ang gusto ko ay sumakay sa pagikot ng buhay”, and I love the song itself.
