Sitti: Sporty Bossa Nova Diva

Sitti, the Philippines’ Bossa Nova Queen, along with The Sittizens organized the Sittilympics 2012, a sporsfest promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship among her supporters where Sitti herself played the games and showed her love for sports. Attended by different personalities like celebrity player Dondon Hontiveros, The Captain Alvin Patrimonio and the King of Acoustic Pop Nyoy Volante.

Sittilympics was a whole day affair on its  second year held at Unilab, Mandaluyong City last 26 May 2012. We were grouped into 4 teams (Red, Green, Blue & Yellow) who played for different sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Table Tennis.

Alvin Patrimonio accomodated a fast basketball clinic for women attendees of Sittilympics including Sitti where they are instructed basic ways of handling and shooting the ball. Thanks for this capture by Norman Jimenez.

Sitti won her first Badminton championship (mixed doubles) under Red Team. The Green Team won the Overall Championship (who won the Basketball & Volleyball championship), I’m lucky enough to play with the team’s volleyball game which I really dont know how to play yet we eventually won over others. Blue Team won the Table Tennis Championship. Yellow Team won the cheering competition.
