After Popstar Princess’ eighth studio album One Heart, reaching 3x Platinum award released under VIVA Records last May 2012, Sarah Geronimo is now launching her latest recording entitled “Pure OPM Classics,” featuring Original Pinoy Music at its best in her own rendition and style. It’s Sarah G’s updating, revising and paying her respects to the great OPM songs of our time. 

Songs in the 12-track album include Florante’s Handog, Ray-an Fuentes & Tillie Moreno’s Umagang Kayganda, APO’s Panalangin, Asin’s Masdan Mo Ang Kapaligiran, Sampaguita’s Tao, Joey Albert’s Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, Nonoy Zuniga’s Doon Lang, and Rey Valera’s Malayo Pa Ang Umaga. Only the classics through and through — George Canseco’s Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan, Ryan Cayabyab’s Kay Ganda Ng Ating Musika and an amazing rendition of the great OPM hit Freddie Aguilar’s Anak, the carrier single of the album.
