We’ve seen her twice (I think) before this event, we first heard her musicality live at the Arigato Japan benefit concert of Aisaku and Sofia. Bata pa ako, Dulce na yan! Damang-dama ang passion for music sa bawat kanta at bilib na bilib ako dahil memoryado nya ang bawat titik ng kanyang mga pyesa. Two thumbs up!!!

We are grateful to Music Museum Mgt. that we are able to witness the fulfillment of Dulce’s dream concert, a major musical history and a milestone in her career. Congrats Ma’m Dulce, Ikaw ang tunay na nagwagi!

Dulce’s (Ma. Teresa Magdalena A. Llamedo-Cruz) singing career started with her winning the Tawag ng Tanghalan in 1975. Since then, there was no turning back for this Cebuana songstress. She was the Philippine official representative to the Asian Singing Competition held in Hong Kong in 1979. Her winning entry was a composition of George Canseco entitled Ako ang Nasawi, Ako ang Nagwagi. That same year she received the Most Promising Entertainer of the Year from the Aliw Award. She also showcased her acting prowess in theater via Ewagan (1984) and Cats (1985). She is dubbed as the Asia’s Singing Champion. ~opm.org.ph
