Lawson, pop rock London-based sensation is coming to town, ending speculation of such tickling possibility and turning it into a fan frenzy that promises a beautiful mayhem once the group meets their Filipino fans face-to-face.

They will be performing at Eastwood Mall Open Park in Libis, an intimate venue but has an expected heavy crowd of delirious fans, on 9 April 2013 at 7pm.

“It shall be a dream come true to do a couple of shows there. We want to go to as many places as we can and we heard Philippines is a very good scene music-wise,” said 22-year old lead guitarist Joel Peat. The statement came in a past interview when the chance of them coming to Manila was still being cooked and not yet finalized.

Now the dream for their multitude of young Filipino fans will finally become a reality. Lawson fans will be able to meet their heroes in flesh, alive and giving melodic music that inspires the heart and rocks the soul.

Lawson, its name paying tribute to a real-life doctor who saved the life of their vocalist Andy Brown from death scare, scored hit singles recently, namely, “When She Was Mine,” (which immediately became high-rated on YouTube in just a week after being posted) “Taking Over Me,” and “Standing In The Dark.” “Completing the band roster are bassist Ryan Fletcher, who has been jamming with Joel since they were 14, and drummer Adam Pitts.

“I think the band is working under a perfect system where we got individual roles to fulfill and we’re not bothered by it. It’s cool that Andy is our singer-songwriter and he is the eldest,” stated Fletcher.

Lawson’s album “Chapman Square” is now seated comfortably high on the album charts, currently climbing the iTunes charts too in UK and Asia. The band’s singles “Taking Over Me” and “Standing In The Dark” are now certified hits and have both reached the Number 1 spot on Philippine Radio and Music Channels. Video below by LawsonVEVO.

Where’s the Sheep? Album Launch22 June 2012 | Eastwood Mall Open Park
Where’s The Sheep? is vocalist Mike Shimamoto and guitarist Hero Mauricio, the duo who shares a charming, moving and inspiring comtemporary christian music, a feel-good sound now reaching into a wider audience. It’s Praise music turned Pop, something different and something new to listen to and it’s a wonderful compilation of songs of Faith, Hope and Love.
I have this amazing feeling and luckiness to be able to watch these guys live performing their songs, an easy-listening music which speaks of a different kind of love, also the passion and commitment for Christ. Two original songs were included in the album, “I Am Home” which talks about a lifestory assessed to be worth living and “Buksan” which is their carrier single, now an impressive upbeat radio hit song, a Mike and Hero composition, released under Vicor Music, now available in record stores.

Let every day be Valentine’s Day!
Charlie Green’s Rainbow LaunchEastwood Mall Open Park | 14 Feb 2012  Birthday greetings to Charlie Green today for his 15th year, cheers!

Despite of his hospitalization because of viral infection, this Brit-Fil young crooner was given a warm welcome by fans and expectators in his Rainbow album launch held last Vday (14 Feb 2012) in Eastwood Mall Open Park, sang few songs from the album and managed for a meet and greet sessions after his performance. This international singing sensation is back and is really looking forward for his Filipino friends and fans.
One of the songs performed in the album launch, Charlie Green’s version of Sukiyaki. Video by liaochiling.

He offered not a full concert yet promised an album of his full musicality, he’s trying new sounds, goes pop-rock, keyboard-based pop and upbeat, Latin-pop and dance-samba, set for release in Europe, South America, the United Kingdom, Japan, China and the Philippines. Also featured in the album is Charlie’s OPM cover of Nonoy Zuniga’s Kumusta Ka, Kyu Sakamoto’s legendary Japanese song entitled Sukiyaki and Somos Novios’ South American classical song It’s Impossible (a duet featuring Danna Paola). Charlie’s latest album entitled“Rainbow” is the follow up to his “A Friend Like You” album, both released under Viva Records.

It’s in In A Big Band Mood concert (with The Company and Richard Poon in Aug 2010) where we last time we saw Charlie with his parents, covered him in his A Friend Like You album launch in May 2010 and lucky enough to cover him again for a new album launching. Thanks to VIVA Records (especially Mam MG Mozo) for the invitation and the opportunity that were able to witness again such great talent and charming personality, we missed Charlie’s captivating smiles.

Charlie Green appeared and impressed UK with standing ovation in the talent show Britain’s Got Talent singing Frank Sinatra’s Summer Wind and easily adored in his version of Rogelio dela Rosa’s Dahil Sa ‘Yo.

The Company Lighthearted LIVE! at Eastwood Mall Open Park | 21 May 2010

Starstruck sa galing ng The Company. Ito ang unang beses naming napanood sila nang LIVE! Kahit pa man sablay ang audio dahil sa supplier, wala nang dapat pang patunayan dahil magaling silang totoo.
