Wala akong ibang memories kasama ang Comedy King, una’t huli ko siyang nakita  noong nag-launch si Zia Quizon ng album sa Teatrino noong isang taon (Sept 2011). Isa ako sa mga napatawa’t napasaya n’ya sampu ng sambayanang Pilipinong todong nagmamahal at umiidolo sa husay at dedikasyon  niya sa larangan ng pagpapatawa. Salamat Tatay Cosme.

Dolphy’s cover of Florante’s Handog is a beautiful bossa nova included in “HANDOG NI PIDOL - A LIFETIME OF MUSIC & LAUGHTER,” arranged by Mel Villena with the AMP Nonet. It is the Comedy King’s first full-length studio album, released under PolyEast Records.

The CD chronicles the inspiring and colorful landscape of Dolphy’s career and personal life with a track list that blends an interesting mix of standard classics, novelty, ballads, and homegrown favorites. The CD’s carrier track, a revival of Florante’s “Handog,” encapsulates Dolphy’s very essence and purpose as an artist.
