On Higher Ground’s stage setting has a plain white backdrop using CGI (computer-generated imagery) that’s something new and different which transformed into many background such as hi-definition sound system, starry sky, full moon, green pasture, old villa, rocky mountain, and several Gary Vs onstage, depending on the performance.
Performances includes a mix of classic OPM hits such as “Di Na Natuto” and “Each Passing Night”, upbeat tunes performed with Juan Miguel Salvador such as “Hataw Na,” “Tara na,”, “Halina” and “Heto Na Naman”, teleserye theme songs such as “Tayong Dalawa,” “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo,” “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, “ and “Sana Maulit Muli”), gospel songs performed with Julianne such as “Search and Know, “Take me out of the Dark,” and “Warrior is a Child”, “Over the Rainbow” a Judy Garland original and some party medleys such as David Gueta’s “Without You,” Black Eyed Peas’ “Time of my Life,”, LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem”.
That defines an awesome concert.

I actually don’t know how and where can I find the words to put here, the concert has a spectacular visual effects like what’s written in rosarioko’s blog, just remembered that I’ve heard all the songs that I’ve wanted to hear, groove all the moves that I’ve wanted to see and that the greatest part of all is on how Gary V executed such world-class performance onstage where all I can do is to happily applause and admire him. Don’t miss this awesome concert, it’s certainly pure sexy energy!

On Higher Ground, a series of 8 concert nights at the Music Museum, celebrating Mr. Pure Energy Gary V’s 29th Anniversary and Manila Genesis’ 25 years, performing his best element, greatest hits, today’s hottest chart-toppers, party anthems, and homegrown favorites. It’s a soldout concert, expect the most groundbreaking and pioneering technology and excellent audio-visuals. He shared the stage with the two world-class musicians, Julianne (Awit Awards 2008 Best Female/Best New Female Singer) and Juan Miguel Salvador (formerly of Rage Band).
The concert is directed by Gary and son Paolo Valenciano with musical direction by Mon Faustino. A benefit show for UNICEF and Shining Light Foundation.
