Taylor won Artist of the Year, Top Billboard 200 Artist (her second win in this category in three years), Top Female Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album (for RED), Top Country Artist, Top Country Album (for RED), and Top Country Song (for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”). Her New Single “Everything Has Changed” featuring Ed Sheeran set to be release on June 3, included in the album Red which was released last October 2012. RED has already sold more than 5.8 million copies worldwide, including 1.2 million in the U.S. in its first week of release, music’s biggest first-week sales number in more than a decade. Called “the slickest, smartest and just plain best mega-pop statement of our time” by Rolling Stone, and “sublime….required listening” by Entertainment Weekly, RED set a new worldwide iTunes record for highest ever first-week album sales, and reached #1 on iTunes and national sales charts in 50 countries around the globe.
With RED, Taylor became the first artist since the Beatles (and the only female artist in history) to log six or more weeks at #1 with three consecutive studio albums, and she is the only female artist in music history (and just the fourth artist ever) to twice have an album hit the 1 million first-week sales figure. Taylor is Billboard’s youngest-ever Woman of the Year, holds the record for the most songs (11), to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 in the chart’s more-than-five-decade history, and also holds the Hot 100 record for most songs by a female artist on the chart in a single week.
Taylor, dubbed “officially the new Mick Jagger” by Vanity Fair and heralded as “a true arena-rock goddess at an amazing peak” in Rolling Stone, is currently on the road with the North American portion of The RED Tour, playing 66 shows (including 13 stadium stops) in 47 cities in 29 states and 3 provinces spanning 6 months in 2013. Just last week it was announced that Taylor will take The RED Tour to Australia and New Zealand later this year, performing stadium shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, as well as an arena date in Auckland. Taylor will be the first solo female artist in twenty years to undertake a national stadium tour of Australia, with the last being Madonna’s Girlie Show tour in 1993. Due to strong fan demand in the initial pre-sales, an additional show has already been added to the previously announced itinerary.
Taylor, who writes all of her own songs, is a seven-time GRAMMY winner, and is the youngest winner in history of the music industry’s highest honor, the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. Taylor has an album on Rolling Stone’s prestigious The 50 Greatest Albums of All Time (by women) list, and Time magazine has named her one of the 100 Most Influential people in the world. Taylor, who is signed to Big Machine Records, has career record sales in excess of 26 million albums and 75 million song downloads worldwide, and has had singles top both the country and pop radio charts around the globe.
Taylor is nominated for two CMT Music Awards, which will be presented June 5th from Nashville.

22 year-old Taylor Swift is a six-time GRAMMY winner, and is the youngest winner in history of the music industry’s highest honor, the Grammy Award for Album of the Year (for Fearless, released in 2008). Her 2010 album, Speak Now, was lauded on Rolling Stone’s prestigious The 50 Greatest Albums of All Time (by women) list, and Time magazine has named Taylor one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Earlier this summer, Rolling Stone called Taylor “one of the few genuine rock stars we’ve got these days, with a flawless ear for what makes a song click.” She is Billboard’s Woman of the Year, as well as the reigning American Music Awards Artist of the Year, and both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music’s current Entertainer of the Year. She is also the most awarded star in the history of the Teen Choice Awards, taking home honors for both music and movies. Taylor, who writes all of her own songs, has career record sales in excess of 22 million albums and 50 million song downloads. Each of her three studio albums has sold in excess of 5 million copies worldwide, and her most recent album, Speak Now, is one of only 17 albums in the entire history of music to sell more than 1 million copies in a single week. She has had singles top both the country and pop radio charts around the globe, is one of the top 5-selling digital music artists worldwide, and is the top-selling digital artist in country music history. Taylor holds the Billboard records for the Most Top 10 Debuts in the History of the Hot 100 Chart, the Most Charting Songs from One Album in a Single Week, and the Longest Charting Album on the Top 200 Chart. Speak Now is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the Fastest Selling Digital Album by a Female Artist.
Earlier this year, Taylor wrapped her world tour in support of SPEAK NOW, and played 111 shows to more than 1.5 million fans in sold-out stadiums and arenas in 19 countries spanning four continents in 2011 and 2012. Her 107-date FEARLESS 2009/2010 Tour sold out arenas and stadiums in 88 cities in five countries. Taylor voiced the character of Audrey in the 2012 hit movie “Dr. Seuss’s The LORAX,” and also this year, she contributed two songs to the soundtrack of the movie “The Hunger Games.” She has hosted Saturday Night Live, appeared in the Garry Marshall film “Valentine’s Day,” and guest-starred on the Emmy-winning TV drama CSI.

Dia Frampton, The Voice (NBC) Season 1’s runner-up returns with a bang through her first full-length album entitled ‘Red’, out now in CDs exclusively under MCA Music. Fans of the American singer-songwriter will be pleasantly surprised with the new album as Dia projects a completely diverse selection of melodies with her beautifully unique singing voice and stellar songwriting. The album is a stunning collaboration with notable producers and songwriters including Isabella Summers of Florence + The Machine, Tom Shapiro, Kid Cudi, Toby Gad, Chris Seefried, Mark Foster of Foster the People, Julie Frost and Meg White. Dia also proudly acknowledges her sister, Meg, as an instrumental part in the making of the album —- “It’s fun to write with friends and work with producers, but when I work with my sister, I can just be myself 100%. We are also close enough to say to each other, ‘Yeah, that part sucks.’ No hard feelings.”
Red features ten exceptional tracks such as the upbeat motivational song “Don’t Kick the Chair”, the fast-paced guitar-driven tune “Isabella”, the promising radio-worthy single “The Broken Ones”, the cheery drum beat-heavy track “Good Boy”, the emotionally charged “I Will” featuring The Voice coach/mentor Blake Shelton, the electro-pop tune “Billy the Kid”, the country-inspired bittersweet song “Daniel”, the vengeful “Walk Away”, the anthemic masterpiece “Bullseye” and the heartfelt musical lyrics of “Trapeze”.
Red is an impressive first record for Dia Frampton and a fine follow-up that lives up to the potential she showcased back then. One cannot deny that even though she didn’t win The Voice, she is bound to make a mark in the music industry and stay true to her musical sound and honest songwriting.
Dia Frampton’s RED is available at Astroplus and Odyssey Music & Video or online via www.MyMusicStore.com.ph. Connect with Dia on Twitter.com/DiaFramps and Facebook.com/DiaFramps.
