Silver is Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez’s 25th Anniversary concert which will be held at the SM MOA Arena on 16 Nov 2012, her first solo concert after 5 years. Performers in the concert include Asia’s Nightingale” Lani Misalucha, Janno Gibbs and her better half the singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid. Accompanying Regine is the 60-piece Manila Symphony Orchestra musically directed by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and Raul Mitra.

Regine Velasquez bears an inspiring true story of rags to riches and because of her magnificent vocal prowess, her music incredibly reigned in the music industry this long! Her live performance were always amazing.

She is Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez-Alcasid, a multi-awarded recording artist who is widely known for possessing an extensive vocal range. Along with the Retro All Stars, Class Of Six performed at The Launch held last 17 Aug 2012 in Teatrino. Class Of Six is Zee Mance and Jessi Dominguez (lead vocals), Richard Santiago (lead guitar), Rockey Alavazo (drums), Sam Celda (bass guitar) and Nathan Doce (keyboards), a brand-new pop band performing powerful original compositions from their album like Tonight (an upbeat song with club remix), Sulyap and Mahal Na Mahal (love songs appropriate for movie themes) released in their self-titled album under Godspeed Music Label and Star Records.  After their original song performances, they sang a medley of cover songs like Gary V’s ‘Di Bale Na Lang and ‘Wag Mo Na Sanang Isipin, Regine Velasquez’s Urong-Sulong and a mashup song of Zsa Zsa Padilla’s Mambobola and Randy Santiago’s Babaero. Rosa, Laguna Yes, it has been a very busy weekend for us, we’re in Makati Shangri-La to cover for an event on saturday, celebrated Lola Chloe’s birthday on sunday, attended some Laguna trip on monday and some additional obligation because of this week’s newspaper production (our day job). We need to comply with three clients in the coming weeks ahead, indeed a fruitful start of the month. No time for Happy Pigs, yeah! that’s what I call Angry Birds instead. By the way it’s also Ver’s birthday month, wishing him good health and more love this early, he’s been very hardworking all these years. Rosa to experience EK for the first time. Sabi ko nga sa instagram post ko kanina, “Perstaym. Kawawa na naman. Pagbigyan nyo na.” Meet my EK buddy, an anchor’s away addict and a co-zen, Jellyn. Thank God for friends like her who are willing to give up their whole day, just to make sure you get through yours okay. We had fun trying almost all extreme rides and I’m proud to be a survivor of the Space Shuttle and the EKstreme Tower. We love the waters of Rio Grande Rapids and Jungle Log Jam, Jellyn can attest to that. And it has been a dream come true to hitch with the horses of Grand Carousel and to discover the sights of Wheel of Fate. Yes, it has been a very busy weekend for us, we’re in Makati Shangri-La to cover for an event on saturday, celebrated Lola Chloe’s birthday on sunday, attended some Laguna trip on monday and some additional obligation because of this week’s newspaper production (our day job). We need to comply with three clients in the coming weeks ahead, indeed a fruitful start of the month. No time for Happy Pigs, yeah! that’s what I call Angry Birds instead.


By the way it’s also Ver’s birthday month, wishing him good health and more love this early, he’s been very hardworking all these years. Please whisper a little prayer for him and may he continually be blessed.
