Bo Cerrudo Covers Great OPM Classics

It’s a wonderful feeling when you came into a live music show without any expectation. I’m greatly surprised with Bo Cerrudo’s cover of OPM’s greatest classic hits namely: Maalala Mo Kaya (composed by Constancio de Guzman and popularized by Constancio de Guzman), Dahil Sa Isang Bulaklak (composed by Leopoldo Silos and popularized by Ric Manrique) and Kapantay Ay Langit (composed by George Canseco and popularized by Amapola). It’s like paying tribute to classic actors and actresses of Philippine Cinema that while he was singing a photo slideshow of them were being played on his background.
And for how many times we’ve seen Bo in musical events, last night’s performance stands out. Nothing beats original Filipino music. #supportopm

Sometimes used as warmups, sometimes used to help build focus or musical precision, sometimes used to help build confidence in improvisation, this seminar teaches a number of different singing games that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Contemporary a cappella has been around for twenty years, resulting in a dynamic and rhythmic sound and style that differentiates it from barbershop, doo wop, close harmony, and other a cappella styles. Learn how to create a great contemporary a cappella arrangement using a tried and true 10 step formula.
- Singing Instruments
Ten years ago, a cappella singing was mostly “bum” and “doo.” Now, people sound like drums, guitars, horns, and a myriad of other instruments. Learn how to use one or many voices to sound like instruments, and work them into your arrangements.
